Christian Education: |
The
Christian Education ministry at Royal Lane
is not merely another facet of our Church
program. It is essential to our mission
as a church. It is through our educational
ministry that we seek better understanding
of our own faith and growth as a community
of Christ-followers.

Children's
Sunday School
Children's Sunday School begins with a gathering
time in the Children's Building for grades
K-6 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. This is a time for
the children and teachers to enjoy donuts
and juice. Then we dismiss to age-graded classes.
Nursery care is provided for children from
birth through pre-Kindergarten for both the
Sunday School time and the worship hour.
Extended
Session
Extended
Session is an educational enrichment program
for children ages
Three and Four Years old.
They attend the opening portion of the service
with their parents then return with the
extended session workers to the Children's
Education building until the conclusion
of worship.
Children ages
Kindergarten and First Grade are encouraged
to remain in worship with the parent(s),
but are welcome to attend extended session
as needed.
Music
and Missions
On Wednesday evenings there is a program
for our children at Royal Lane that spans
ages two years through sixth grade in age
appropriate groups. The children meet from
6:15-7:15 p.m. First music, followed by
a Missions lesson, again by age groups.
The children study about missionaries in
various countries around the world.

those in need. |
